A Sun in the... chapbook
"Baptized in blood. Cast from Eden. Two men. One passion: Murder. Will it salve the deep wounds which separate them, so they can return from the Abyss?"
Written by T. Bernard Tracey and designed/printed by Jacob McMurray, this chapbook is a taught, WWI spy thriller, told across seven exquisitely designed pages.
The verso of each page is designed as a postcard, and the first 15 sets of the story were individually, page by page, mailed across the world to acquaintances of the author, to much confusion and bewilderment.
The remaining 35 sets have been parcel bound in black and red cord, complete with hand printed tags and early 20th century Eastern European postage stamps.
Run of 35. Signed and numbered. Seven sheets of 6.25" x 8.375". 236lb. Flurry 100% cotton, two-ply, off white cover stock. Edge painted in alternating black and red and printed on a 1906 Golding Improved Pearl #11 letterpress.
